Kirkwood City Hall
The historic Kirkwood City Hall remodel was multi-faceted. It included updates to the general office work areas and public visitor spaces. The historic building and Kirkwood's cultural character were maintained and enhanced while being updated for contemporary use. The attention to detail resulted in efficient workflow, office collaboration and increased security. Designed to clearly convey accessible services for visitors, the space provides a secure, friendly and welcoming environment.
The project had a condensed time schedule, which was successfully adhered to by the design team. LNB Studio procured specificied materials with long lead time items prior to the Contractors' bidding and selection. To allow Kirkwood City Hall to remain operational during the remodel, work was staged and executed in six overlapping phases.

Sunset Hills City Hall
The Sunset Hills City Hall remodel improved the building’s functionality and security. It was designed to provide safety by both limiting public access and providing the ability to secure the public. Our design improved ADA compliance and updated the aesthetics of project areas, including: Administration and Court Clerk offices, Public Works, Council Chambers, the lobby and public restrooms.
LNB Studio engaged a sub-consultant cost estimator at the onset of the project to provide cost control during the design process. Implementing these measures were critical to the project’s completion within budget and on time.

Brentwood City Hall
The Brentwood City Hall project was quite complex, especially with the challenges posed by the historic building’s multiple levels and the changes in occupancy over the years. LNB Studio managed to navigate these complexities through thorough documentation, evaluation and strategic planning.
After completing pre-design planning and programming, the City moved forward with a Customer Experience Renovation Study. The study was an instrumental measure to ensure that the renovation met the needs of the community while staying within budget and on schedule. Delivering such a project on time and within budget is a testament to LNB Studio’s meticulous planning and execution expertise.
